Located along the approach to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, Kawamura Saheiji Shop specializes in Japanese-style pickles. Its Teppo Fudozuke, named after Fudo Myo-o, the guardian deity of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, and made from melons and cucumbers grown by a local farmer under contract. The shop also sells pickles with burdock root, mountain burdock root, and pickles with red pepper wrapped in shiso leaves, as well as Narazuke (vegetables pickled in sake dregs) and Kinzanji Miso.
