Kururi Castle Ruins
This castle site in Uchiyama, Kururi, Kimitsu City formerly belonged to the Satomi and Kuroda clans. It's also known as the Rain Castle as after completion it rained every three days, hiding it in a shroud of fog. It was abandoned in the early Meiji era (1868?1912), but the castle tower was restored in 1978, and today hosts the Kururi Castle Museum. The area around it is now a park.
