This world leading porcelain art museum's collection includes works by Imari, Nabeshima, and Kakiemon and is surrounded by 100,000 square meters of natural greenery. The main building is characterized by its white plaster walls and with over 400 exhibits you can see their entire collection on display. There's also the history hall with its porcelain tiled walls, which has a showroom of large porcelain pots by Imari and an observation deck on the top-most floor.

Away from crowd museum but with minimum English translation

Nice and beautiful museum. Lots of porcelaine and informative. However, not suitable if you are going in for more knowledge on porcelaine. They have great pieces and history on it. But no translation...

「栗田美術館」1968年開館。足利市郊外にあり世界最大級の陶磁コレクションを有する。1991年に亡くなったクイーンのフレディが86年9月にわざわざこの地まで足を運び鑑賞したとされ、今やファンの『聖地』に。事前にそれを知り興味を持ち、コロナ禍の2020年10月の水曜日に来館。いやはや、こんな素晴らしい陶磁器の美術館は日本でも、ヨーロッパやアメリカでも見たことがない...

入場料は1,250円ですが、敷地が広く展示館が複数あるので見応えあります。有田焼、鍋島などの展示物多数。QUEENのフレディやエリザベステーラーも来場しているとのこと。季節によっては花も咲くようなので写真映えもしそうです。陶磁器の物販館や喫茶館も有る期待。入場料は現金のみですが物販はカード決済可能でした。６階建ての館では最上階からあしかがフラワーパークの全景も見えました。夜のイルミネーション時期は...
