Sobadokoro Komachian

Soba / Udon
A soba noodle restaurant adjoining Komachi no Yakata located a 30-minute drive from Tsuchiura Station on the JR Joban Line in Ibaraki Prefecture. In addition to standard mori soba chilled noodles, the restaurant also offers soba with seasonal vegetable tempura, hot kake soba noodles in broth, and soba with mushrooms. At the adjoining Komachi no Yakata, visitors can learn about the local legend concerning the famous ancient poet Ono no Komachi, try making soba noodles themselves, and purchase farm-fresh produce.
