Ocha no Marutaen
This Eco-Farmer-certified farm engages in green tourism utilizing Japanese chestnut, green tea, and bamboo plantations handed down for generations. The farm is located along National Route 125 on the way to the Koga City Sanwa Branch Office. Here visitors can try Japanese chestnut and gingko nut gathering from summer through fall. The farm also offers a tea making class during which participants can enjoy sweet kurikinton homemade with the farm's own chestnuts. In addition, the farm offers senbei making, lip cream making using tea seed oil, grass toy crafting, and nature engagement programs. Surrounded by natural beauty, the farm is a great place to unwind.
