Izumo is said to be the birthplace Zenzai (a Japanese sweet), and this is a popular tea house providing carefully made sweet red bean desert. They offer a delicious zenzai that is not too sweet with soft rice cake that is made from local Shimane Prefecture Nita rice and large sized red beans from Hokkaido. Many people drop in on the way back from worshipping at Izumo Taisha Shrine for not only the sweets but also meals such as Izumo soba noodles and Enmusubi (lover's) udon.

出雲大社を訪れた際に寄りました。出雲そばが有名とのことで、今回は写真の月見そばを注文しました。味も非常にさっぱりしていてとても美味しかったです。この時は知らなかったのですが、出雲そばは岩手県の「わんこそば」、長野県の「戸隠そば」と並び、日本三大そばの一つにも数えられるそうです！今回は頂きませんでしたが、磯のりそばがかなりインパクトあったので次回訪れたら食べてみたいです！また、おぜんざいが出...

出雲大社勢溜の大鳥居近くにある蕎とぜんざい屋さんです。平日の13時に行きましたが待ちもなく入店出来ぜんざいと抹茶ぜんざいを頂きました。焼き餅は柔らかくぜんざいとも合って美味しかったです。

平日の14時頃来店。出雲が発祥だというぜんざい。お餅は焼いてあるものが好きなので、こちらのお店をチョイス！香ばしくて美味しい！ぜんざいはミニがあり、ちょっと小腹を満たすのにちょうどいいサイズ！！
