This is a temple established at 900 meters height situated in Mt. Mitoku. The building is built protruding from a steep cliff wall, and is designated as a National Treasure. The mountain road to the temple is extremely dangerous with many accidents so please take care. It is recommended that you view the temple from the “Nageiredo” distant worship spot in the mountain foothills.

絶景、ここまでは来てください

投入堂迄の行程の8割位の場所にあります。良くメディアにも取り上げられる絶景です。落ちたら確実に死にます。こんな危険な場所なのに何の囲いも有りません。全て自己責任です。鳥になった気分になれます。少なくとも此処まではたどり着いてほしい場所です。反対に此処で諦める方も多かったです。
鎖場を登った先にある文珠堂

三徳山三佛寺、投入堂まで登っていく途中にあります。崖の上に建てられていて、鎖場を登った先です。ここでは靴を脱いで、広縁を歩くことができます。誤って転落する人もいるんじゃないかと思うほどの狭くて高い場所です。
岩上に建立された舞台造りのお堂

宿入橋手前の登山参拝事務所で、投入堂参拝料を納め、投入堂までの、かずら坂・くさり坂を、登った所にあるお堂です。国の重要文化財で、岩上に建立された舞台造りになっていて、靴を脱ぎ、廻り縁を回ると大山が遠望できます。廻り縁は狭いので、少しスリルを感じます。
