Ogamiyama Shrine

Mt. Daisen was originally called Mt. Ogamiyama and is where Okuninushi no kami, the great national goddess is enshrined. Worshippers have gathered at Mt. Daisen as the “Mountain of God” since long ago. The approach to the Okumiya, behind the main shrine, uses natural stone and has a mysterious feel. It is said to be the longest approach path in Japan.

令和5年の初詣で訪問しました。地元では縁結び（縁切り）にご利益があるとして知られた神社です。昨年の令和4年が自分にとって良くない事が重なったので、今年はこちらに参拝しました。今のところ、ご利益を感じる出来事が多いので、行ってよかったと感じています。
神話にも繋がる歴史のある神社

『再生神話の郷マラニック2018』のコース途中にあったので、立ち寄りました。大神山神社の奥宮が有名ですが、ここの本社は初めて来ました。由来を調べてみるとこの土地の神社が出来たのは、江戸時代と比較的新しい時代に出来たようですが、創建からの歴史を読むと神話の時代に繋がる壮大な歴史を感じます。
