Sanin Coast Geopark

In 2010 this park was recognized as the fourth World Geopark in Japan. Particularly recommended is the Uradome coastal area, where the cliffs have been weathered continually by the continuous pounding of rough waves throughout the severe winter conditions. The impact of the ria coastline is a highlight. Visitors can experience a variety of activities at “Nagisa Exchange Hall”, a nature experience facility, such as snorkeling, sea kayaking and accessory making etc.
