Shinshoji Zen Museum and Gardens

Temple
"The Shinshoji is a Buddhist temple located in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Founded in 1965, the temple's principal object of worship is a statue of Maitreya. Visitors can enjoy a Japanese sweet combo in a tea house on the grounds and also try the same Shinshoji udon noodles eaten by ""unsui"" itinerate trainee monks. The temple offers a Zen training experience as well as activity classes like zazen meditation and traditional sutra copying."
