Kamakura Matsubaraan
A soba noodle restaurant located a few minutes away from Yuigahama Station operating out of a remodeled Japanese home which has watched over the streets of Kamakura and the ocean of Yuigahama for 70 years. Once you take your shoes off and enter the residence-cum-restaurant, you’ll feel like you’re visiting the home of a trusted friend. In the restaurant’s relaxing Japanese-style rooms, you can take your time and enjoy a la carte dishes together with sake and wine. The restaurant doesn’t close for any breaks between when it first opens and closes and thus is also recommended for a late lunch or early dinner.

- Gem off the beaten path
- Found this on TripAdvisor spontaneously. It’s a bit hard to find if you don’t know where it is but the food is delicious and it is traditional Japanese with seating on the ground and all.
