Minara

After visiting Nara Park and Todaiji Temple, head to Mi Nara where a whole new experience awaits. Enjoy the artistic atmosphere of the Nara Kingyo Museum - which is themed around goldfish (kingyo) - and the Nara Ikimono Museum - where there are 100 species of reptiles and tropical fish. There is also a food court where you can enjoy Japanese food for lunch.

Mi Nara is a shopping complex which houses the popular Nara Kingyo Museum and Nara Ikimono Museum. The food court hosts a variety of Japanese dishes, including udon, ramen, and takoyaki. If you're looking to buy some food to take home, you can check out the supermaket, Hokkaido-themed shop, and a pudding specialty shop. Mi Nara is a 10 minute ride on the Gurutto Bus leaving from from Kintetsu Nara Station, conveniently located for sightseeing. It's also a fun destination on a rainy day.
