  岡山市内のお寺が集まっている地域に在る真言宗の寺院です。建物もあまり古くなく、現代に建てられた感じです。説明書が無いので歴史的なことは分かりません。

• 真言宗のお寺

  柳川電停から南の方向に少し歩いたところにある真言宗のお寺です。岡山市内中心部のお寺は岡山空襲で焼失して再建したところが多く、ここも新しい建物の本堂でした。後日、高梁市の同じ薬師院にも行きましたが、あちらのほうが名前がとおっているようでした。
