- 専念寺は、JR秋田駅から徒歩約23分のところにある真宗大谷派の寺院です。7月に秋田の寺町界隈を散策した時に参拝しました。本堂は、入母屋造銅板葺の木造の立派な建物です。7月の早朝でしたが本堂で法要が行われていました。境内には、包丁塚がありました。この近辺は、寺院が集まっているので神社仏閣に興味がある方にお勧めのスポットです。
