• 新しい涅槃(ねはん)像

  特大の涅槃像は意外に新しく、昭和32年(1957)に奈良県で造られました。てっきり昔からあるのかと思っていました。この涅槃像よりも制作の元となった「ねはん図」のほうが価値が高く、文化財に指定されています。平日に訪れましたが、とても静かで落ち着きました。
