  建築家・黒川紀章の設計で、あまり紹介される機会がないですが、大阪万博のパビリオンや東京・新橋の中銀カプセルタワーと同時期のメタボリズム建築です。宿泊棟とプール棟を結ぶ空中通路は2001年宇宙の旅のセットのようで、見ものです。1972年の札幌オリンピックでは報道センターとして活用されました。
