- (Provided by service)This long-established Japanese-style confectionary store, located in Sakai, was founded in 1329, in the late Kamakura period. Their specialty walnut mochi's name is derived from green soybean paste wrapped in mochi. The exquisite balance of the product's softness and the bean paste's smoothness is something people never tire of, according to its reputation. Their take-out menu is so popular that there is always a line extending out of the store. Additionally, seated within the eat-in space inside the store, customers can also enjoy shaved-ice walnut mochi, as well as the store's regular walnut mochi.
