Standby favorites such as chicken wings and meatballs are available while gizzards and other inner organs are popular among the more audacious. The humble chicken on a stick becomes a thing of beauty when the owner, Hasegawa san, grills the meat. Hasegawa san brings impeccable, juicy cuts to the diners in his homey venue. Daruma is open from 4PM - 1AM and is closed on Mondays.

For a change of pace, Manhattan Jazz Bar hosts small gigs and plays jazz vinyls in its classy, cozy venue. A little farther away from the train station, the bar is relatively quiet with mostly locals taking up the space on the bar stools. Local musicians play a variety of traditional American jazz to Latin American music and sometimes the owner participates on the piano. The charge for live gigs is affordable, ranging from 1,500 yen to 2,100 yen depending on how large the band is. Another perk, Manhattan Jazz Bar is one of rare places in Tokyo that does not allow smoking.
Play an instrument? Manhattan Jazz Bar also hosts all night jam sessions a few times a month.
