Yubari Forest Farm Youth Hostel

A short distance outside the town of Yubari, among a cluster of white birch and hiba trees sits this family-run hostel and organic farm. Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, stopping here for a night or two will help provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind and recharge. The quality of the freshly picked home cooked food is an added bonus!

  • The Forest Farm Youth Hostel is run by two sisters, who along with the rest of their family also operate an organic vegetable farm on the surrounding premises. Depending on which season you choose to visit, you can see and sample a vast selection of home grown vegetables and other produce including melons, garlic, pumpkins, tomatoes, eggplant, carrots, and potatoes. They also bake fresh bread on the premises. During the summer and autumn months the owners operate a small market stall outside the house where one can buy their produce to take home, for reasonable prices. All of the above and more are served to guests for dinner and breakfast, with vegetarian options available. In the evening guests are invited to sample locally made wines with the owners while listening to music in the large, airy dining room.
