- This orthodox snow resort a 10-minute drive from JR Johana Line Fukumitsu Station is the sister resort of the Arosa resort in Switzerland. The slopes offers night skiing during certain parts of the white season. The resort is gathering popularity for the fact that almost entirely of its slopes can be enjoyed day or night, a rarity in Japan. During the green season, the resort offers a dog park, park golf, and more. You can also take the gondola up to the peak to enjoy views of the Sea of Japan, Tateyama Mountain Range, and rest of the surrounding area.
