The waters of the bathhouse' alkaline simple spring have a sleek feel and customers rave they leave the skin silky smooth. The bathhouse' outdoor baths boast sweeping views of the Kaminokawa River flowing directly adjacent, and include a bath so deep you can soak in it while standing up, a bath with benches for sitting, and a private outdoor bath with its own inner garden. The bathhouse is surrounded by lush trees, and in spring customers can take in cherry blossoms; in summer, soothing forest scenery; and in fall, the colorful leaves of some 2,000 maples.

温泉は掛け流しで、泉質は無色透明。広い敷地の川沿いに露天風呂があり、木立に囲まれた露天風呂に浸かれば川のせせらぎが自然に耳に入ってきます。施設はサウナや洗い場も充実していてゆったりとした時間をすごせます。バス等の交通手段がないので、車で行くことになりますが、ＪＲ九州の伊集院駅からはタクシーで１５分位で行けます。

The bathhouse is constantly supplied “kakenagashi” style from an alkaline simple sulfur spring. There are two indoor bathing areas, the wooden Mokumoku area and the airy Sora area. Which is the men’s and which the women’s alternates on a weekly basis, and visitors can enjoy both by timing their visits right.
