    八代に出張で行き、この店で昼食を取りました。ご夫婦ですべてをやっている昔ながらの喫茶店です。サラダ付きの「ハンバーグ・カレー」をいただきました。焼き目の入ったハンバーグの表面はカリッとしていて、中は肉十たっぷりのフワッとした状態です。カレーはオーソドックスな味ですね。他のメニューに目を通すと、各種ピラフ、パスタ、とんかつなどもあるようです。

    駅前にある「レストラン＆喫茶」です。ビール、定食、中華、とんかつ、コーヒー何でもあります。八代駅は飲食店が減っているので、大変ありがたいお店です。最近見なくなったディスプレイが良い感じです。

    Unusual decor. Quite dark and we were the only customers. Coffee was okay but quite expensive for what was probably instant.

    山盛りで出てくるパフェがお勧めです。 何といっても、高い地点から球磨川の景色が一望できて、素晴らしいです。 店内は、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気で安らげます。
