- This karashi renkon mustard filled lotus root shop has been in business since 1955. Karashi renkon is a famous local dish which has been made in Kumamoto for some 400 years, and this shop makes its karashi renkon with love and care one at a time. The shop uses a type of lotus root grown in Kumamoto which has a distinctively pleasant texture. The karashi miso filling is made using a special barely miso recipe passed down for generations; while the outer batter is made with a mixture of flour, ground fava beans, and ground turmeric. The shop also offers a karashi renkon-making activity in which you can hand-stuff and deep-fry your very own karashi renkon to take home.

食べ放題飲み放題で、クーポン利用で￥２５００でした ほんとに安い、しゃぶしゃぶのお肉は食べきれないぐらいの量で、 ほかにもたくさんのメニューがあり頼み放題 味も普通の居酒屋さんと変わらなくてよかったです ベンチみたいな席で少々違和感はありましたが、慣れれば平気なのでしょうね、足元にはひざ掛けが用意されていて女性のお客さんに優しいな、と思いました
