This ramen shop in Nishi Ward, Kumamoto City serves Kumamoto ramen made with garlic oil, noodles, and chashu pork they produce themselves. Their noodles are medium-thick and nicely textured. They go great with the shop's fragrant charred garlic oil which is slightly bitter and pork bone broth, which isn't too fatty and has a smooth aftertaste. Their carefully selected fresh eggs with beautiful yolks make the perfect addition.

Founded in 1954, this is a popular Kumamoto ramen shop located in the Kamitori arcade shopping area. Although pork bones are used as stock, the ramen is light and healthy with not so much fat content and mixes well with the thin noodles. The taste has been handed down from the first generation. The balance of fine bean sprouts, chashu (a thin roasted pork fillet), and charred garlic as soup toppings is exquisite. It is a seven-minute walk from the “Torichosuji” tram stop.

We were recommended by a staff from Hotel Wing International to try Tonkatsu ramen in this shop. Overall ramen is nice except the soup was a too salty for me. The pork was nice, melting and tender...

This ramen shop is located in Kita Ward, Kumamoto City. Their authentic Kumamoto ramen has won them lots of fans even beyond the prefecture. It features a super aromatic 100% pork bone stock perfectly paired with charred garlic. The deep flavors of half-cooked egg and sliced chashu pork go great with the broth. Their slowly simmered pork offal side dish is popular too.

月曜日のランチタイムでしたが、駐車場にはすんなり入ることが出来ました。以外にあっさりとしていて、食べ易かったです。シンプルにラーメンと餃子をチョイス。リーズナブルだし、駐車場もあるので、オススメです。

Located in Tamana City, this noodle shop's ramen has a delicate flavor; that's quite popular. Its features a thick and rich tonkotsu pork bone stock made with carefully selected water.
