    九州産交ツーリズムのバスツアーで立ち寄りましたが、大観峰は肌寒かったです。雲も出ていて眺めはいまいちでしたね。新型コロナの影響で利用客が減っているため、茶店の料理も少なかったです。カレーパンを食べました。

    A cafe operating out of a closed school building located in the Okuaso forest. This is one of the most famous places in Takamori, a town known as a great riding destination to motorcycle lovers from across the country. The school building's distinctive wood floors engender a relaxing atmosphere, and the old anthologies placed around the tables add to the nostalgic air. With a large collection of motorcycles on display, the cafe is an irresistible destination for riders, but the establishment also strives to ensure that it will serve as a relaxing space for locals and families with children as well. The cafe takes particular pride in its comforting, home-style handmade food and in-house-roasted coffee.

    "A cafe located close to the Minamioguni Town government hall. The cafe's signature apple pies are made with apples stewed in sanonto sugar and wrapped in a handmade crust. The establishment has attracted attention for its abundant use of apples in many of its dishes, such as its ""Apple Cheese"" cake topped with apple slices, and Japanese-style curry made with apples instead of potatoes. The taste of the cafe's lovingly crafted dishes has won it many fans. The establishment also sells natural yeast breads, making it a great destination for bread-lovers. The laid-back interior gives off a secret hideaway vibe and customers can enjoy lunch through dinner here."

    林檎の樹にランチに寄りました。今回は新メニューのトルコライスを頂きました。かなりの量でがっつりメニューです。チキンカツ2枚、ハンバーグ1個、カレーピラフにナポリタンとサラダが大皿一つに盛り付けられており価格は単品1500円です。スープまたはコーヒーのセットにすると1800円。ロコモロ1320円を頼むより量的にも価格的にもお得ですよ。

    This teahouse adjoins the Yamamizuki ryokan inn in Kurokawa Onsen. Situated at the end of a passageway to the side of the main ryokan building, the teahouse serves light meals and desserts. The teahouse' popular pudding soft serve ice cream has a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture and is limited to just 20 customers a day. After enjoying a hot spring bath, the combination of sweet pudding and ice-cold soft serve ice cream makes for a truly exceptional flavor. The teahouse is located a little away from the center of the hot spring district, but thanks to a free, dedicated scheduled shuttle bus, many people stop by here to take a break while visiting the outdoor baths of Kurokawa Onsen.

    This cafe is located a 10-minute drive from the Kurokawa Onsen hot spring district. The cafe serves original Japanese teas, black teas, and drinks, along with desserts which go well with the same, in an establishment filled with gentle sunlight. The cafe's homemade annin tofu gained rapid fame after it was featured in various media; this exquisite dessert is filling and consists of a heaping helping of pudding-like annin tofu covered with plenty of fruit sauce. With an advance reservation, you can also take some home with you. The cafe also sells seasonal items such as cutlery, Japanese tenugui hand towels, accessories, and tableware.

    This restaurant is the sister establishment of Okyakuya, the ryokan inn with the longest history in Kurokawa Onsen. The restaurant serves cuisine using an abundance of local ingredients and Kumamoto brand meat varieties such as red beef and Hio pork. The restaurant's beef curry, made with rare and expensive Aso red beef slow-stewed to perfection, is so popular many customers come back again and again to enjoy it. The restaurant also offers a broiled red beef rice box which is completely covered with flavorful red beef sirloin and which is limited to just 10 customers a day. Drizzled with a homemade garlic sauce, this tasty dish is frequently featured on television, in magazines, and in various other media. The restaurant operates out of an old Meiji period Japanese home which was relocated to this site; inside the restaurant has a fireplace and exudes a relaxing atmosphere.

    This cafe and gallery is situated on the Monzen Shopping Street near Aso Shrine. Operating out of a building once used as a dressmaking school, the gallery area sells antique tableware and accessories. The establishment's name is derived from the name of the former dressmaking school's headmaster. In the cafe area, customers can relax and enjoy a cake set meal or a cup of coffee made with fresh spring water while listening to the babble of a stream.

The facility operates as a gallery and cafe in a remodeled 100-year-old former silkworm cocoon wholesaler's which exudes a thick, retro atmosphere. The facility offers an activity in which you can make a fuku mayu ningyo (lucky cocoon doll), a traditional craft in Yamaga, in about 30 minutes. The facility also serves fresh roasted coffee and desserts in the adjoining cafe space. The facility is a great place to stop by in between visiting the Yachiyoza theater and walking Yamaga's Buzen Highway.

    コロナの影響で飲食店へは躊躇していましたが、週末にスターバックスには人がたちが並ぶ姿が見かけ、思わず行列に加入しました。フレッシュな果物ムースを頼み、買い物の疲れを癒しました。テーブルの間隔を開けたり、マウスシールドを付けて店内のテーブルの消毒する店員が感染予防に頑張ってました。

    お名前か分からないので記載できませんが、いつもいらっしゃる店員さんが常にとびきりの笑顔で対応して下さりとても癒しです…。店員さん目当てで通いようになったと言っても過言ではありません(><) 面と向かって言えないのでここで！ いつもありがとうございますー！！！ アールグレイスコーンがしっかり紅茶味でほろほろサクサクでとてもオススメです！美味しかったです(^^)
