    This tourism facility also has a large observatory commanding a view of Tachibana Bay, which has even been selected for inclusion in the Japanese 100 Best Scenery list. The facility sells Nagasaki's famous castella cakes and other souvenirs, as well as a wide range of other items, up to and including crafts from across the Kyushu region. There's also a stand which sells the facility's own original and signature Jaga-chan deep-fried potato balls. Meanwhile, a large cafeteria occupying the first and second floors serves a large selection of local dishes such as Nagasaki chanpon and sara udon noodles. This cafeteria has a lot of seating and, with a reservation made at least one day in advance, can even accommodate large tour groups. In the summer, the facility holds a special summer festival as well as nagashi-somen noodle slide events.

    雲仙スクエア内の物販店です。駐車場が広く入り易いのが特徴的でした。店内に入ると地元の名産品や菓子類等も並んでおり、小さ目の道の駅風となっていました。土産物として魅力的な品も並んでいましたが、持帰りに便利な包装とは云えないのが残念でした。

    "This Japanese confectionery shop is located in Unzen, Obama-cho, Unzen City along the Unzen Road. It is known for Unzen's famous snack ""Yusenpei,"" made one by one in a mold using flour, eggs, sugar and hot spring water. Besides selling sweets such as ""Unzen Toramaki"" with bean paste rolled in tiger-patterned dough and ""Unzen Jagaimo Yokan"" using specially produced potatoes, it conducts workshops to hand-bake ""Yusenpei"" (reservation required)."

    湯けむり立ち昇る雲仙温泉、温泉街の中心に甘い香りがほのかに香るお店があります。 遠江屋さんは、雲仙名物湯せんぺいのお店です。 金型に生地を流し込み、一枚一枚丁寧に焼き上げる、昔ながらの「純一枚手焼き」。 店頭で実演していてその様子を見ることができます。 湯せんぺい焼きたて(みみ付)を頂きました。 素朴で優しいお味のお煎餅です。

    A tourism complex located in Minatoshinchi-machi, Shimabara City. The Tottotto Shokudo restaurant operates out of a remodeled storehouse which was used by the lord of the domain in the Edo period and serves seafood rice bowls, sashimi meals, stewed fish set meals, and other dishes made with seafood from the Ariake Sea. The Tottotto Ichiba market sells fresh, live seafood and drive fish. There's also an oyster grilling hut and fishing ground.

    The showcases on the first floor of this Western confectionary shop are filled with 50 varieties of small cakes available for takeout. The Obama Unzen Ganso Guruguru, a whipped cream roll cake which comes in four flavors, is the shop's most popular cake. Other Western confections available include Obama choux cremes, crepes, and puddings. The second floor is a cafe area which serves sandwiches and other light meals. The terrace seating area offers a view of the ocean. The shop also holds all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink events.

    小浜温泉の足湯近くにあるケーキ屋さんで、ショーケースにいろんなケーキがありました。パンもおいしく、とくにクロワッサンがさくさくでおいしかったです。お土産にいちごのバームクーヘンを買いましたが、それもおいしかったです。

    This souvenir store adjoins the Orange Bay hotel a 50-minute drive from Taira Port and the Isahaya Interchange. In addition to seafood products like iriko dried sea slug and onsen tsukudani soy sauce boiled preserved foods, the shop mainly sells foods which make use of local ingredients, such as jams made with tomatoes and carrots. Well-known confections such as Jaga Pies and Yusembei biscuits are also popular. There's also an area where you can find cheap, old fashioned Japanese dagashi snacks and sweets. Another nice thing is that Orange Bay guests can get a discount coupon.

    島原城の北西に南北に連なる武家屋敷通りがあります。通りに面して、いくつもの武家屋敷があり、無料で開放されていました。そんな武家屋敷が立ち並ぶ一角に、こちらの売店がありました。 島原城関連グッズなどが並べられた売店ですが、「無料休憩所」の看板もあり、島原城や武家屋敷観光の休憩スポットに最高の立地でした。

    卵かけご飯が食べたくて行ってみました。レストランと卵や加工品販売が一緒になったお店です。卵かけご飯セットは500円。ご飯と味噌汁に、卵と漬物がお代わり自由です。卵がとても新鮮で美味しかったです。ご飯のお代わりは有料でした。帰りにシュークリームとクリームパンを購入しましたが、それも美味しかったです。また行きたいお店の一つとなりました。
