    嬉野温泉街にある公衆浴場シーボルトの湯です。オレンジの矢根が目を引くレトロな雰囲気です。 温泉宿に泊まったのでお風呂は利用せず、外観からの見学のみでしたが、嬉野温泉を代表する観光地なので次回は温泉も利用したいです。

The hotel's bathhouse is supplied with waters from the famous Ureshino Onsen hot spring, considered one of the three most skin beautifying hot springs in all of Japan. The waters of this sodium - chloride - hydrogen carbonate spring are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, frozen shoulders, chronic digestive diseases, and sensitivity to cold, in addition to promoting post-illness recovery. The ""Yama no Yu"" bathing area, which includes both an indoor bathing area and an outdoor bath, may only be used by guests, but the exterior ""Shiiba no Yu"" large outdoor bath area is open to non-guests as well. The hotel also has an adjoining all-you-can-eat buffet style restaurant called ""Yamaboshi"" which serves Japanese-style yakiniku barbecue and other dishes."

    しいばの湯は椎葉山荘にある露天風呂付き大浴場で宿泊者は無料ですが立ち寄り湯としてはタオル付き大人1,100円で利用できます。ここのお湯はとろみがなく、あまり嬉野温泉っぽくなかったです。そこまで広くなく、山の中に露天風呂があるので落ち葉が多く浮いています。椎葉山荘に宿泊していたので無料で入浴できましたが、私はここに1,100円支払うぐらいなら嬉野温泉街の中にある姉妹店の大正屋の立ち寄り湯に行きます。

The waters of this spring are said to treat nerve pain, muscle soreness, joint pain, frozen shoulders, motor paralysis, joint stiffness, bruises, sprains, sensitivity to cold, chronic digestive diseases, and hemorrhoids, in addition to promoting general health and aiding recovery from fatigue and illness. Facilities include a multitude bath styles such as an outdoor bath, reclining bath, and individual tsuboyu jar baths as well as a Maifan stone sauna, and five other types of saunas, a relaxation center, and a restaurant.

    It is a restaurant in Pokapoka Onsen. You have to buy a ticket from a machine first. Lake many other restaurants of this kind, you cannot expect much. But the price is ok.

    手軽な料金で利用できますし、手ぶらでいっても大丈夫です。唐津観光で汗だくだったので最高でした。少し小腹がすいたら、温泉後に食事もできるのでオススメです。地元の方も結構利用されていますよ。
