- Saga Takeo Takeocho Takeo 4100
- "Due to its resemblance in shape to a Chinese boat called a ""karasen"" in Japanese, Mt. Mifune is also called Mt. Karasen. This park is situated on the mountain's western side. The park was created over a three year period as part of a villa for Nabeshima Shigeyoshi, then lord of Takeo Domain. The park is incredibly beautiful in spring when some 2,000 cherry trees and 200 thousand azaleas on the grounds bloom in profusion. The sight of colorful azaleas sprawling like a patchwork quilt under azure sky is stunning, but the scenery created when the park is illuminated at night is also magical and exceptional."

Mifuneyama Rakuen is a kind of natural park on the foot of Mt. Mifune. It is popular for azalea in spring and red leaves in autumn. As I went there, it was too early for red leaves. But just for this...

- The garden has a begonia garden, a begonia store, a flower café, and a place where visitors can interact with small animals. The garden is located in a scenic spot overlooking Karatsu Bay, so it can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Saga Areas
Away from the fast-paced cities of mainland Japan, Kyushu’s Saga prefecture offers quaint towns and cities known for their traditional crafts, particularly ceramics. Rich in kaolin (a type of clay), Saga became the homeland of Arita ware, a delicate, decorative porcelain that is now celebrated worldwide and can be discovered in the towns of Arita, Imari, and Karatsu.
