The center offers a reservation only simulated disaster course in which visitors can safely experience an earthquake, gale force winds, and a fire. Visitors can also go through fire and disaster drills offered for both children and adults.

The ferry provides easy access to Uminonakamichi Seaside Park in Saitozaki, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City, located on the opposite shore of Hakata Bay.
