    “HAKUHAKU” is a museum of Hakata’s food culture which opened by “Fukuya,” the first place to sell spicy cod roe in Japan. It is divided into the five zones of museum, experience workshop, factory observation, cafe and shop. The spicy cod roe creation experience can be reserved up to 5 p.m. three days beforehand, though same-day reservation may be possible depending on the circumstance. It is around a 16-minute walk from JR Yoshizuka Station.

    工場見学が楽しい。めんたい作りも体験できるようで、たくさん人が参加してました。レストランの定食は観光地価格で高いです。しかもご飯は炊いてから時間が立っているようで、めちゃくちゃ固かった。

    It is a nice building to tour, but probably unless you come with children there are very few attractions in it. Yet, I enjoyed from the building itself and the exhibition hidden below the escalators...

    日帰りバスツアーで訪問しました。第３セクター（立花町、ＪＡふくおか八女、キウイ生産農家からの出資）が運営しています。ワイン工場、ビール工場の見学に行くと、アルコール以外のソフトドリンクの試飲もありますが、ここはありません。アルコールのみです。ドライバーさんと、アルコール苦手な私と二人で、残念ですねと、意気投合しました。

    食品サンプル勢揃いのとても楽しいお店です。見るだけでもいいですし、もちろんお気に入りがあれば購入してもいいですね。福男明石の中心街から南にかなり離れた場所なので、レンタカーでいけると便利です。
