An izakaya (Japanese pub) located close to Tenjin. The restaurant's fresh fish are stocked early and are purchased from the Nagahama fish market at night before other vendors get a chance. Fish Man also offers a variety of unique menu items which seek to make the most of the flavors of their component ingredients, such as a niku-jaga (Japanese-style beef and potato stew) made with wagyu beef kalbi (rib meat) meat. This delicious dish uncharacteristically looks almost like a cake and has even been featured on television. The restaurant also offers a full selection of authentic sweets which are highly renowned for their deliciousness.

金曜日当日の予約でしたが、運良くセーフ。事前予約無しでは、入店は難しそうでした。地ビール・有名な地元日本酒・各種焼酎・ワイン。またメニューもウキウキする品揃え。雲仙ハムのハムカツ・牛タンテキ・酢ごぼう・ごまサバ・ひやあつうどん・日本酒鍋島をオーダー。どれも美味しい。写真を添付しておきます。是非再度訪問したいと思いました。

店員が外国人(肌が茶色-黒人の方)のみという、独特な雰囲気でした。言葉が通じておらず、オーダーが全く通ってないという場面もちらほらありました。値段はリーズナブルで、外国の人が作る和食を味わうという、何とも不思議な気分でした。

帰省時女子会をする時にいつも利用します。以前は沖縄系の料理が多かったのですが種類も豊富でどれも美味しく、特に週末は予約をお勧め。駐車場からちょっとした日本庭園もどきを通って２階に上がるとオーナーか店長の趣味でしょう、いつも壁に映し出されたモノクロのオードリーヘップバーンさんが出迎えてくれます。ただし喫煙OKなので残念ながら私にはマイナス１。

It serves dishes made with fresh seafood purchased from the Nagahama market every morning. Its specialty menu item is the “Tricolor Tuna Lunch Bowl.” It is a luxurious dish, topped with succulently fatty tuna, medium-fatty tuna and lean tuna, and the lunchtime-only “reasonable” price is very attractive. In the evening, customers can enjoy alcoholic beverages from Kyushu, such as sweet potato shochu, with sides directly from the market, such as sashimi and fish boiled in soy sauce.
