- This restaurant, directly supplied by a fishmonger, is located very near to the Dogo Onsen Honkan in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture and is recognizable by its cute mural of tanuki racoon dogs. All tables inside are sunken kotatsu (heated tables) and there is a calm atmosphere. The local cuisine using seasonal seafood from the Seto Inland Sea is popular; it includes the Uwajima-style sea bream rice, a local specialty. Popular dishes are the local cuisine set lunch which has limited availability of carefully-selected, reasonably-priced seafood and the kamameshi rice pot set.

いつも行っているお店に仕事関係者が居たので、慌てて退去。近くに魚を食べさせてくれるところがないかウロウロ。目に入ったことお店に飛び込みました。結構混んでいて、ごま鯖やカツオを注文。旨い、旨い。カマ各種の焼物も旨くて、次からはここにしようかと。

お席もゆったり座れて、駐車場も広いです。 建物が迫力があり、夜はライトアップされて余計に目につきます。 お魚からお肉といろいろなメニューがあります。釜飯以外は案外早く出てきます。 とても美味しかったです。

落ち着いた雰囲気のお店で、座敷席とカウンター席があります。接待や大切な人との食事にぴったりなお店です。地元の魚や地酒が豊富にあり、特に「おこぜ」がおいしかったです。季節の旬な食材を使った食事が出るので、季節ごとに足を運びたいです。
Ehime Areas
Stretched across the northwest corner of Shikoku island, Ehime is a nature-rich prefecture boasting beautiful coastlines and a rural center where mountains play host to 26 of the Buddhist temples that make up the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Matsuyama is home to an original post-feudal castle as well as Dogo Onsen, one of the country’s oldest natural hot springs. The northern city of Imabari marks the entrance to the Shimano Kaido, a road that crosses six spectacular bridges and several islands, forming a route between Shikoku and mainland Honshu.
