- Ehime Pref. Iyoguntobechou Gohonmatsu 82
- Try out polishing or glazing at the “Tobemachi Ceramics Creation Center.” It offers a wide variety of experiences, like using the potter’s wheel, painting a pattern with pigments called “gosu”, and working the pottery by hand.

- Ehime Pref. Uwajimashi Takagushi 3-58
- Uwajima pearls stand out worldwide for color, brilliance, and condition and here you will find them available for purchase and can try your hand and making things with them as well. Uwajima, blessed with pearl farms in the deep bays of the rias coastline, is home to the best pearls in Japan. By skipping the middleman and processing all pearls in house, they can offer high-quality pearl products at wholesale prices. There is also an onsite restaurant offering traditional Uwajima cuisine made from fresh seafood straight from their aquarium. Their locally made and sold Pearl Sweet Crunch is a popular souvenir.

Ehime Areas
Stretched across the northwest corner of Shikoku island, Ehime is a nature-rich prefecture boasting beautiful coastlines and a rural center where mountains play host to 26 of the Buddhist temples that make up the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Matsuyama is home to an original post-feudal castle as well as Dogo Onsen, one of the country’s oldest natural hot springs. The northern city of Imabari marks the entrance to the Shimano Kaido, a road that crosses six spectacular bridges and several islands, forming a route between Shikoku and mainland Honshu.
