    Wow, the exterior and interior are simply beautiful. Photography is not allowed but its okay - indulge yourself in the feel of a traditional Japanese coffee shop. For lunch, they have set meals...

    This café is in Kitahama Alley, an old warehouse town converted into a retro commercial complex in Kitahama-cho, Takamatsu City in Kagawa Prefecture. When you open the door, you are greeted with a tasteful space that makes good use of its location with the islands dotted around the Seto Inland Sea, the boats sailing back and forth in front of your eyes, the rusted tin and the vintage interior design. It has an extensive café menu with carefully-selected tea and coffee served in collaboration with a home-roasted coffee shop in Yashima. The food menu, which includes pizza, curry and bagels is also popular.

    Whilst waiting for our ferry across to Naoshima Island we went... as we always do... in pursuit of the best coffee in town... and this was a truly wonderful surprise. Housed in a pretty run-down...

Its healthful menu includes chewy bread made with rice flour, weekly lunch specials, crème brulée made to order, and other dishes that use local ingredients and traditional Japanese flavorings. All these are served in a comfortable, relaxing space.

    Kagawa Takamatsu-shi Yashimanakamachi 91
    This tearoom is located on the grounds of Shikoku Mura, an outdoor museum which displays old and ancient traditional homes moved here from across the Shikoku region. Operating out of Western-style home built as a residence for Englishman William Down which was moved here from Kobe, the tearoom serves coffee and black tea as well as cakes and muffins. Inside, the building exudes an English atmosphere and all of the furniture was ordered from the U.K. Everything is around a century and a half old, engendering an elegant and quiet air. The tearoom can also be used as a venue for parties, presentations, concerts, commemorative photography, and other events.

    四国村の出口のところにある、喫茶店です。素敵な建物を眺めながら通り過ぎようとしたら、登録有形文化財とのこと。しかも喫茶店で、神戸から移築して表にはロンドンから移したという大ぶりの風変わりなポストがでんと座っていました。店の中は広々して、古いけどしっかりしたつくりのテーブルと椅子が満ちていました。

It is particularly known for the freshness of the fruit, as it was a vegetable and fruit shop at the time of is establishment. Their French toast topped with plenty of fruit is a popular menu item for both men and women of all ages.

Wafting with the aroma of coffee, the atmosphere creates a sense of elegance and calm. The patrons can be seen with a cup in one hand enjoying a leisurely laugh together, or just absorbed in reading. The shop-blend is a discriminatingly made bitter rich blend from a foundation of Columbian beans, creating a robust flavor with a bitterness that comes from a home roast but with a mildness and slight acidity. During the breakfast hours until 11 a.m., toast comes free with a cup of coffee.

    This hands-on nature experience facility is inside the Seto Inland Sea National Park. It was built as the primary center for the park for sharing or collecting information about nature. Surrounded by natural beauty and magnificent vistas, this facility provides a permanent exhibit from which visitors can learn of the nature, history, and environment of the Seto area. Visitors can also join in an insect exploration workshop, candle making, or join the staff on a nature walk around the center. Located near this center is a shizen taiken house, which large groups or students can use experience nature up-close.

    Great pancakes and Hawaiian stylings. The prices are fair but not cheap. This is a very nice place and plays good music. Great for a date because it is not full of screaming kids! Highly recommended.
