    You’ll find this station at the Miyanoura Port ferry terminal in Naoshima Town, Kagawa County, Kagawa Prefecture. It features a bold design that befits its role as the entrance to Naoshima, and island known for its culture and artistry. Inside the facility, there’s a tourism information center, a cafe, a waiting area, a ticket purchasing area, a specialty goods shop, and a bus terminal, and the place is always bustling with tourists. Next to the building is the “red pumpkin,” an impressive outdoor art installation by Yayoi Kusama featuring a vibrant red dotted design.

    This rest area is situated along the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage between Nagaoji Temple, the route’s 87th temple; and Okuboji Temple, the 88th temple. The rest area serves as a place for pilgrims to exchange information as well as a gathering space for local residents. Inside, there’s a pilgrim museum where visitors can video Edo period travelogues and maps, votive tables left behind by past pilgrims who were offered food or accommodation, and old pilgrimage stamp books and handprints. In addition to pilgrims, the facility is used for group study events by local elementary and middle schools, and as a training space for lifelong learning groups.

    This is the only beach within Sakaide City. Shamijima Island has fine sand that covers its coastline. It is also called Manyo no Shima, as it is dotted with historic ruins, tombs, and literary monuments. This cozy beach has a sense of privacy, but is equipped with showers and toilets in the Nishinohamanoie beach house. This beach house, formerly used for the Seto Island Sea International Arts festivals, is divided into three sections. It now offers Shamijima oden and light meals. This beach is settled directly at the foot of the Seto Ohashi bridge. It has been selected as one of Selection of Best 100 Beach because of the magnificent view of nature against the backdrop of the modern beauty of the bridge, and the clear clean water.

    JR坂出駅構内に有る観光案内所です。今回は、瀬戸大橋近くまで行くのでレンタサイクルを借りました。整備もきちんとなされていて快適でした。

    The information center is located in the Kasajima Town Preservation District, where you can get information about the village of Kasajima, located at the northwestern tip of the main island, one of the seven islands of Shiozaka, as well as explanations of the buildings.

    笠島の伝統的建造物の中では、真木邸と旧真木邸と藤井邸が内部まで公開されていました。石畳とかは歩きやすい新しく綺麗な石畳でした。

    丸亀城の坂の入り口にあります。 建物にに入ってすぐのところでうちわを作っています。 最近見かけなくなった持ち手が竹のうちわで風情があります。 案内所は意外に広いお土産売り場です。 丸亀はお土産を売る店がほとんどない感じだったのでここで買えば良かったと後悔してます。

    改札口正面に案内所は有ります。パンフレット類は室内に入ることなく、店頭に有るので私自身入ることなく用事を済ませました。

    証明書の提示不要で、気軽に自転車を借りることができます。 借りる時に500円を預け、返却時に300円返してもらいます。 午後4時半までに返却しなければならないのがプレッシャーですが、快適な自転車が200円で借りられるのは魅力です。
