    This is a store owned and operated by the Sugi Honey Farm, which undertakes all the processes for cultivating, harvesting and packing their own honey. With its distinctive modern white base decor in the old-town area along the pilgrimage rout to Konpira Shrine, this shop offers visitors a bright welcoming atmosphere. The honey soft-served ice cream, made with their own honey, has a refreshing cool sweetness. There is nothing as refreshing as this cool soft cream after one has climbed up the 785 steps to main shrine, or all the way up the 1368 steps to the inner shrine. They also offer a large assortment of original honeyed drinks with yuzu citrus, blueberry, acerola, mango and many more. In the cooler months, the same drinks are offered as hot beverages.

    自家生産したハチミツのロイヤルゼリーや加工した化粧品などを販売するショップだ。全国の百貨店や観光地に出店しており、洗練された室内だ。本社は熊本だという。こんぴらさんならでは、という感じではない。

    This is the name given to the five sweets shops, as a group, which line the path when one enters through the great gate at the 365th step on the Kotohira Shrine premises. Sitting behind their wares, under five beautiful white paper umbrellas, the vendors sell the Kamiyo sweets still made in the traditional method said to have been passed down for over 700 years. The name Gonin-hyakusho, by which these vendors are called, is an official title given to attendants in the sacred service of the shrine. In recognition of the services provided by their ancestors, these are the only vendors allowed to sell their produce within the confines of the shrine. The special kamiyo candy is an elegantly shaped golden candy made with the simple three ingredients of sugar, starch syrup and yuzu citrus. This hard candy with a faint yuzu scent comes with a very small hammer with which one is to crack the candy.

    This is a wasanbon sugar sweet specialty store. This sugar is the highest-grade Japanese sugar with a gentle flavor and soft powdery that melts in your mouth. Located along National Highway 11, at this store where the primary factory is located, the skilled workers continue the tradition and art of wasanbon making. This wasanbon is made from a rare variety of sugarcane called Chikusha that is only grown in parts of Kagawa and Tokushima prefectures. With heat, the distinctive flavor dissipates so this sugar can be used even in cooking. The store has a bright and spacious interior where seasonal dry and watery sweets are sold. The sugar confections come in many colorful shapes, and make great gifts from Kagawa.

    高松駅前のJRホテルクレメント高松の1階にあります。今回、このホテルに滞在した際に利用しました。宿泊者にはケーキの割引券がもらえました。ホテルのなかにあるわりには、値段が安く、お得でした。パンもケーキもとてもおいしかったです。

    人通りが多い商店街沿いに三越が有りました。店舗内部は他のデパートとは変わりありません。館内は撮影禁止なので外からの写真を投稿しておきます。夏らしくライオン像が水兵さんの装いになっていました。

    金刀比羅宮の参道にあるしょうゆ豆本舗です。 かがわこんぴら観光案内所が併設しており、無料で便利な観光地図を頂けるのでお参り前に寄ると良いでしょう。 しょうゆ豆がのったクレープを頂きました。 椅子もあり、座って頂けましたが本当に美味しかったです。
