The monorail is located in the mountains of Oku-Iya and is said to be the world's longest monorail for sightseeing, with a total length of 4,600 m, a height difference of 590 m, a maximum gradient of 40 degrees, and a peak elevation of 1,380 m. The cherry blossom and fall foliage seasons are especially popular. The lift takes about 15 minutes to ascend or descend the 830 meters of slope distance between Minokoshi and Nishijima. Visitors can stay, eat, and shop at the Chojo Hyutte and the Unkaiso located at the peak of Mt. Tsurugi. Visitors can thoroughly enjoy the beauty of the virgin forest and alpine flowers.

The Hashikurasan Ropeway, which has a total length of around 950 meters, takes visitors to the summit of Mt. Hashikura. There are superb views of the Shikoku Mountain Range and the Yoshino River; visitors can experience the full majesty of nature and its seasonal changes, including cherry blossom and new greenery in spring and autumn foliage later in the year.
