    The main Okamoto Chuka shop is located along Prefectural Route 17 that bisects Komatsushima City, Tokushima Prefecture. This Tokushima ramen shop has continued the tradition of making ramen since their beginnings as a ramen stand shortly after the war. Straight medium-fat noodles are entwined in the rich pork bone based Tonkotsu broth. The meat ladened Chuka Soba Nikuiri is recommended for its Chashu slices, cut from Awa pork, amply served atop the noodles covering the whole bowl. The popular sushi from the Komatsushima main shop is a locally held secret as well.

    田舎のお菓子屋さんかと思ったら、店内は悠々。メジャーなお菓子屋さんです。 和菓子のほかに、ちょこっとパンも置いたりしてましたが、いただいたのは白餡のおまんじゅう「男狭磯（おさし）」。クリーミーな香りがいい感じでした。

    所用が有り、ランチに利用しました。常にお客さんが途切れず満席が続き驚きましたが食べて納得、大変美味しくメインのおかずだけで無く惣菜も丁寧に作られていて最後まで飽きずに食べ切れました。ご飯が少なめですが食べ終わりはお腹満足でした。シラス丼は特に絶品でした。

    自転車で鳴戸から南へ走っている時に「そろそろお昼をたべようかなあ」と思ったときにこの店が。 まだ１１時を少し回ったぐらいの時間なのに駐車場に車が何台もあったのできっと美味しいに違いないと。 とろみのあるスープでチャーシューも柔らかく美味しくいただきました。 また行きたいと思います。
