  • Ozuna Beach

    Located around 10 minutes’ walk from Sabase Station on the JR Mugi Line, Ozuna Beach has received a special commendation from the Ministry of the Environment as one of the best of the “Top 100 Best Beaches in Japan.” Ozuna Beach forms part of the “Yasaka-Yahama” (“Eight Hills and Eight Beaches”), a long stretch of scenic coastline in Tokushima Prefecture. As soon as the beach is opened to the public for sea-bathing in mid-July each year, it attracts many visitors, making for a very lively atmosphere (the beach is open for sea-bathing until late August). Showers, rest areas etc. are available free of charge.
  • Kitanowaki Beach

    This long white sandy beach is lined with as many as 30 hectares of green pine trees. It has been selected as one of the Japan's 100 Great Beaches. The beach features rest areas, showers, a guard station, a first-aid station, and other facilities during the beach season, which runs from July 1st to August 25th. In July, the beach hosts the Marine Festival event. In August, its hosts the Anan Open Swim event.
