- A fruit farm which grows strawberries, Japanese pears, and other seasonal fruits. When in their respective seasons, visitors can enjoy strawberry and Japanese pear picking here. Strawberry picking season is from early January to early June, and Japanese pear picking season is from early August to the end of September. The farm also sells fruit and when in season you can also purchase watermelons and muskmelons.

- A museum which seeks to honor and convey to future generations the achievements of the pioneering anthropologist, archeologist, and ethnologist Torii Ryuzo. The museum is divided into three sections— “Asia as Torii Ryuzo Saw It,” “The Life of Torii Ryuzo,” and “Learning from Torii Ryuzo” —and displays a variety of materials and works concerning the career and research achievements of the man. The facility also has interactive exhibits for children to learn while having fun, such as an area for trying on traditional folk costumes and a pottery puzzle.

- This is one of the largest zoos in Shikoku located in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture. It has a temperate zone, a savannah zone and an arctic zone, a 40 meter diameter flying cage and a kid’s zoo. The zoo houses many species from typically popular animals such as Asian elephants, lions and polar bears to the Andean Condor, the largest flying bird in the world. It is joined to Tokushima Family Land to the west of the entrance gate at the back. This amusement park has a big wheel, a merry-go-round, an amusement arcade and so on.

- The Awa Deko Ningyo Kaikan puppet theatre museum is located around 15 minutes’ drive from JR Tokushima Station. The museum features displays of Ningyo Joruri puppets, classes in making puppet heads, and humorous introductions to the special techniques used in puppet-making. The aim is for visitors to be able to learn about Awa Deko puppets in an enjoyable way by watching and listening. The Awa Deko Ningyo Kaikan also sells, restores and repairs deko puppets.

- Located around 10 minutes’ walk from Sabase Station on the JR Mugi Line, Ozuna Beach has received a special commendation from the Ministry of the Environment as one of the best of the “Top 100 Best Beaches in Japan.” Ozuna Beach forms part of the “Yasaka-Yahama” (“Eight Hills and Eight Beaches”), a long stretch of scenic coastline in Tokushima Prefecture. As soon as the beach is opened to the public for sea-bathing in mid-July each year, it attracts many visitors, making for a very lively atmosphere (the beach is open for sea-bathing until late August). Showers, rest areas etc. are available free of charge.

- Located in an expansive, hilly, and naturally lush area, this park, unlike any other in the country, was created in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Tokushima Prefecture. The park grounds host five facilities—the Tokushima Prefectural Library, Tokushima Prefectural Museum, Tokushima Prefectural Modern Art Museum, Tokushima Prefectural Archive, and Tokushima Prefectural 21st Century Hall. Each facility has a permanent exhibit and also holds special exhibitions and a variety of other events, bustling with visitors throughout the year. A wide variety of flowering plants and trees also grow on the park grounds and visitors can enjoy the seasonal scenery.

- This long white sandy beach is lined with as many as 30 hectares of green pine trees. It has been selected as one of the Japan's 100 Great Beaches. The beach features rest areas, showers, a guard station, a first-aid station, and other facilities during the beach season, which runs from July 1st to August 25th. In July, the beach hosts the Marine Festival event. In August, its hosts the Anan Open Swim event.
