    元々は旧山陽道沿いにあり、2回移築されて現在地に建てられた江戸時代の武家屋敷らしい。入場は無料。玄関に入ったら、係の人が出てこられて、建物の構造の特徴等について概略の説明（詳細は質問応需）を受けることができた。各部屋には、昔の当主と与謝野鉄幹・晶子夫妻、楫取素彦夫妻との交流を示す書簡等、この地域や萩城下の古地図も展示されていて興味深かった。隠し部屋等もあるが、入れるわけではなかった。
