    A restaurant located on the second floor of the No. 3 Orimoto Marine Building (Yamato Museum visitor parking lot) in Takara Town, Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture which famously serves dishes recreating the recipes used for the former Japanese navy and the Maritime Self Defense Force. The most popular item on the menu is the teppan curry, which recreates the recipe used on the Japanese submarine Soryu and which is served on an iron tray like those used by the MSDF. The restaurant’s stylish interior is modeled after that of a submarine. A tripod machine gun used for filming a movie and a model of the battleship Yamato are displayed in the restaurant’s shop corner.

    This restaurant is located an approximately 20-minute drive from the Togouchi Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway. In partnership with local farmers, you can enjoy the fresh, rustic taste of the flavor of the ingredients. Their prided stone kiln-baked pizza has an attractively crisp dough and refreshing sauce. There are three kinds of normal pizza, and the cheese pizza is great with wine. In addition, there is an unleashed dog park on the premises, and they offer menu items for meetups with pets. It is closed during the winter.

    場所は分かりやすく案内の看板があり助かりました。 お料理も美味しくて、日頃作れないビーフストロガノフを美味しくいただきました。しかし、この猛暑の時期、森の中であろうと暑い。屋内にはせめて扇風機 1台あれば、客席に風が行き渡ると思います。森の空気を堪能するゆとりがなく、食後すぐ発ちました。 残念です。

    尾道駅から商店街とは反対の方向にあります。お店に入ると外から見たよりも店内はずっと大きかったです。お料理はコースでいただいたのですが、品数も多く満足できました。特にデザートは20種類以上ある中から３品選べ、女性にはうれしいと思います。お値段も手ごろでよかったです。

    This Italian restaurant is located close to Onomichi Station. The establishment has a relaxing atmosphere and serves elaborate Italian cuisine and seasonal dishes which harness the flavors of the season. Many of the restaurant’s dishes make use of an abundance of seasonal ingredients and can only be enjoyed when in-season, such as the pate de campagne, a country-style meat and vegetable pate which is garnished with stewed vegetable caponata; and the domestic beef sirloin tariata, which goes great with wine. The restaurant also offers an abundant selection of cocktails and red, white, and sparkling wines.

    The food was really good, very authentic Italian food, I was impressed to find the taste of italy in Onomichi!

The establishment boasts a spectacular view and diners can enjoy their meal while gazing at downtown Onomichi City and, on clear days, the distant mountains of Shikoku. The restaurant is open until 21:00, and many people come here to take in dinner and the spectacular night view. In addition, the establishment serves soft serve ice cream and dessert sets, making it the perfect while walking the Senkoji Temple area.

There is more than meets the eye awaiting any Hiroshima-bound traveler. Kicking off in Hiroshima city, the Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle, and Shukkeien Garden offer a couple of days of exploring; however, the real beauty lies along the southern coast of the prefecture. There, a series of islands spreads across the Seto Inland Sea: from the mysterious sea-submerged Great Torii Gate at Miyajima Island to the first half of the islands that connect Honshu to Shikoku via six spectacular suspension bridges.
