    Okonomi Teppanyaki Tama-chan is located along National Route 250 in Sogo, Hinase Town in the city of Bizen and specializes in Okonomiyaki, which is a dish similar to both an omelet and a crepe. Its best-known menu items are Kaki-Oko (oyster okonomiyaki) and Kaki-Negi (okonomiyaki with oysters and green onions), made with the oysters that the Hinase Town is famous for. The menu also features dishes made with seafood such as conger eels and prawns as well as teppanyaki-grilled Okayama Black Wagyu Beef.

    常に長蛇の列ができているイメージのあるこのお店です。 そんなわけで、開店時間のだいぶ前から開店を待っていました。 お店の方いわく、「夏はそんなに込み合いませんよ」とのこと。 空いてる時期もあるんですね。

    夜に近くを通りかかる用事があり、シーズン外の6月でしたが、カキコミを食べに日生に来ました。 しかし、コロナ禍で通常通りの営業しておらず、諦めかけていた時にこのお店を見つけました。 営業終了ギリギリにもかかわらず、丁寧にもてなしてもらいました。 冷凍カキなので、冬本場に比べると味は…ということでしたが、美味しかったです。 次は冬のシーズン中に来たいと思います。

    Located a 20-minute drive from the Oku Interchange on the Okayama Blue Line. A shop for coffee, music, and literature situated on a hill looking over the Ushimado townscape. Inside the remodeled retro styled building they have a sitting area with comfortable sofas, a space where you can sit directly on,tatami-style mats, and they also offer seating on their wood deck where you can feel the sea breeze. We recommend their Chickpea Curry, a vegetarian curry made with a healthy dose of large chickpeas, and their Fluffy Omelet Rice where they gently wrap their special made ketchup rice in a large fluffy omelet. Also popular are their sweets such as their Chocolate Coffee Cake.

    A five-minute walk from JR Kagato Station. At this restaurant you can enjoy a healthy curry made almost entirely with vegetables and dessert. The interior is decorated with Bizen-ware pottery and paintings and the music of Mozart drifts about the room. The roux is made with lots of finely chopped vegetables letting you taste the sweetness of the vegetables through the spices. We recommend the Seafood Curry absolutely loaded with seafood from the Seto Inland Sea including shrimp, crab, and dashi broth. Their Cleopatra Curry, made with Muscat wine and jam, is also available in take-away pouches for later reheating.

    2016年1月にご当地グルメ・備前カレーを食べに行きました。おいしかったです。 具は地元のもの、器は備前焼。備前市ならではの料理だと思いました。 店内はおしゃれで明るかったです。

    A four-minute walk from JR Hinase Station or a 20-minute drive from the Ako Interchange or Bizen Interchange. This restaurant is located west of the station just along National Route 250. Their specialty is charcoal grilled conger eel served over rice, a beloved dish since the owner's grandfather's time, and the fluffy mouthfeel of the conger eel matches perfectly with their secret sauce. They will also ship their cuisine throughout the country. They're known for offering a variety of dishes adorned with the restaurant's name including set meals, rice bowls, and sushi. They also serve meals made with seasonal ingredients such as oysters during the winter months.

    食事は少し高いけど、味はまあまあ。競合も無さそうなので独り勝ち状況で大盛況でしたが、とにかく接客が雑で、食事する前から二度と来るかモード。 外で待ってろ、奥は配膳が届かないから手前に座れ。余計な物頼むと時間が掛かるから辞めろ。声を掛けると忙しいから待ってろ。まるで豚に配膳している様な雑さ。皆さんそこまでして食べるほどの料理か？と疑問に思いました。久し振りに出会った残念なお店でした。

    最高に美味しかったです！牡蠣はとてもフレッシュで、カキオコはおススメです。駅の近くなので、場所も最高でした。岡山近郊に来られる際は、日生まで足を伸ばす価値があります。

    いつも行列が出来ているジェラート屋さん。 瀬戸内ならではの味が楽しめます。たとえばオリーブ味、たとえば瀬戸内レモン、たとえばマスカット酒。 暑い日はすぐ溶けるのでコーンはお勧めしません。

    岡山県内南東部の日生から、更に島に渡るロケーション。明るい時間にリストランテのある頭島に渡れば、気持ちいい景観と橋で繋がる島を体感できます。 その頭島や周辺、そして岡山県内産をキーワードに、食材がダイナミックだけど、味や香りの併せ技で供されます。 このリストランテに伺うだけでも行ってみる価値大です。昼、夜一組を迎える体制に、子育てママの外食にも有用なのではないかなぁ、と思います。
