The shop interior was renovated from a space being used as a garage by an old distinguished family, and features high ceilings and a fusion of Japanese and Western retro sensibilities. The owner procures fresh vegetables, fish, and other ingredients from contracted farms and directly from the marketplace. You can enjoy southern Italian cuisine made with local Okayama ingredients. The menu features simple dishes such as pasta lunch sets in addition to dinner courses and an assortment of wines recommended by the sommelier.

Went here for lunch, we had Chikane sovs(rammen) and yakimeshi(fries rice), both dishes were great, and at a Low lost. There are alot locals. GREAT and very friendly service.

They offer dishes that show off the flavor of their ingredients, made with seasonal vegetables from local farms, seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, and Misato pork. A popular option is their Chef's Whimsy Lunch which includes a fresh salad with their handmade dressing and seasonal vegetable soup. - A 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station. This restaurant operates out of a building constructed during the early Meiji period located near the entrance to Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. The interior features a relaxed retro-modern atmosphere and hanging in the dining area is the Playing Turtles calligraphy by world famous artist Shiko Munakata. For lunch we recommend their Kurashiki Riverboat Steak meal, limited to 15 servings it pairs beef steak with three different starters, and for dinner try their Domestic Beef Steak Course meal where you can choose your favorite cut of meat. They offer a special private dining room, Kawasemi (Kingfisher), which requires advance reservation.

いつも大勢の買い物客で賑わうイオンモール岡山の７階にある串揚げ専門店。食べ放題なので食べ過ぎには注意が必要。イカやキスなどの海産物がとくにおいしかった。

Okayama Areas
Overshadowed by Hiroshima to the west and the Kansai region to the east, Okayama is an easy spot to miss but a nature-rich gem where the Seto Inland Sea laps at its toes and peach and grape farms complete its interior. One of Japan’s Three Great Gardens, Koraku-en in Okayama city is well worth a visit before progressing to Kurashiki, where preserved wooden Edo buildings line the picturesque canal.
