    浜田城資料館の駐車場から浜田城本丸跡に向かって登城している途中に、濱田護國神社がありました。浜田城資料館が展示品入れ替えのため臨時休館していて、続日本100名城スタンプを貰うことができなかったので、濱田護國神社の社務所で貰いました。無礼かもしれませんが、ご神体がトトロのように見えてしまい、ほっこりしました。

    綺麗な神社です。御朱印は、鳥居手前の山辺会館でもらえます。参拝の後は、周辺散策をお勧めします。古風な家並みがあり、独特の雰囲気です。隣接している旧江津役場も見どころある建築物です。

What Shimane prefecture lacks in size and population, it makes up for in scenery and ancient mythology.
