    田舎に置いておくのはもったいないような、新進気鋭のフレンチ。開店以来、メニューの変更があれこれあるようだが、この夜は4400円のコースを食べる。全7品。鯖を使った突き出しにはじまり、パテのようなもの、蟹と牡蠣を使った冷製料理、牛肉の寿司と前菜がつづき、魚料理としてサワラが登場、鴨肉料理がメイン、そしてデセールとなる。全体に油と塩が抑制され、洗練された皿が多い。いまどきの日本型フレンチに近いだろう...

    出雲横田駅から北東に少し歩いた場所にあります。 静かな町の中にあって、お客さんがけっこう満員。期待できる感じ。 注文して１０分ほど時間はかかりますが、味は素晴らしい。しっかりした肉と野菜が入ったハンバーガーは食べ応え十分。お蕎麦が多い奥出雲の地でまた違った輝きを放っています。

    かつては広島から山陰に向かうメインルートであった国道５４号線の上赤名にあるステーキハウスで、当地の特産、奥出雲和牛が味わえるお店です。山陰地方といえば、日本海の海の幸、ノドクロやイカの活造りも美味しいのですがこのビーフも最高です。ちょっと値段はしますが満足できるお肉でした。

What Shimane prefecture lacks in size and population, it makes up for in scenery and ancient mythology.
