    "This roadside station is located at the eastern entrance to Shimane Prefecture, home to mythology. It is a multipurpose facility open 24 hours proving information and holding various events, as well as a market selling seafood and marine produce from off the Sanin coast and farm produce directly to the customer. In the renovated Meiji era house moved here as a Japanese restaurant, ""Nakaumi-no-Sato"", visitors can enjoy Yasugi cuisine in a relaxing space."

    安来節の町らしいネーミングとキャラクターが秀逸ですね。軽快なBGMが流れていて「あらえっさっさぁ-」と声が出てしまいそうです。農産物等直売所と海産物等販売所では、商品の種類や品ぞろえも豊富で買い物が楽しくなります。安来はどじょうが特産ということで、レストランでは柳川鍋も提供されていました。

    出雲から松江に向かう途中の小さな道の駅。ドライブ途中にトイレをお借りました。1階は地元の農産物販売。2階はレストランとお土産屋があります。

    清水寺に時間が取られたので遅め のランチをしました。ここなら富田城跡に行けるそうです。遅めのランチだったからか割り子ソバて定食の食券を押すとソバしかありませんでした。でもお腹が空いてたからか欲しかったです。道の駅では珍しい機織りの実演をしていました。

    美保関から松江に向かって、国道431号を左に中海を見ながら走り、昼食のため立ち寄りました。地産品売場は狭いですが、ファミマも併設しています。小さな食堂で餅の入ったうどんを食べましたが、安くてボリュームがあり、結構美味しかったです。本庄は武蔵坊弁慶が生まれ育った地らしく、入口には可愛い弁慶の像がありました。
