    This brewery is located in the castle town of Matsue, rich in water and greenery. Since its establishment in 1882, the brewery has passed on the tradition of sake brewing, which appears in the Legend of Izumo, and continues to brew gentle and mellow sake loved around the world. Their representative brand of sake, Li Bai, was named by Reijiro Wakatsuki, a native of Matsue City who served twice as Prime Minister. It is named after the Tang dynasty poet Li Bai, who was said to have written a hundred poems after drinking a lot of wine. Li Bai, with its moderate flavor and aroma, is loved in Japan and other countries around the world because it is very well balanced as a sake drunk during meals.

    商店街にある古い醸造所。古民家風の店構えは、写真になる風景。松江市の歴史的建造物にも登録されている。松江に着いたのが夜だったので、残念ながらお店は閉まっていた。湖の側から見る酒蔵も美しい。

What Shimane prefecture lacks in size and population, it makes up for in scenery and ancient mythology.
