    This museum introduces the processes of string instrument manufacturing, the tools used, as well as the wood materials. On the second floor replica works of string instruments are exhibited, and there is also concert hall where regular concerts are held. Trial violin trial lessons are also available.

    知人のコンサートがこちらで開催された際訪問しました。 こぢんまりしていますが、とても雰囲気の良い博物館です。 バイオリンに特化しているので展示物や説明はとても充実していて、バイオリンの事を少し理解することが出来ました。

    Tottori Tohaku-gun Yurihamacho Hashizu
    A beach in Yurihama-cho that inherited its name from the town's previous moniker, Hawai-cho. The wide open resort beach has white sand and a blue sea. It's 200-meter long and 50-meter wide, has toilets and showers, and gets crowded with locals and tourists alike. Many people visit in combination with a hot spring trip to Hawai Onsen. Ten-minutes away by car, it's known for appearing in TV commercials.

    A ground golf course with three courses - an outer course, inner course, and cape course. Tomari is the birthplace of ground golf, a game similar to golf in which you hit a ball and count how many strokes it takes to get it into a hole. The whole family, not just senior citizens, can enjoy playing a round on courses with sweeping views of the vast Sea of Japan. There's also a multipurpose grass lawn with a large white wind turbine, a symbol of the facility, and here visitors can run, play, or lie down and relax on the grass. In the summer, visitors can take in stunning fireworks shows.

    This is a park at the foot of Mt. Utsubuki, 204 meters in height, opened in commemoration of the Taisho Emperor visiting the area. It is one of the most famous sites for cherry blossoms in the Sanin region and has been chosen as “Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Sites”. Many people visit for the variety of cherry blossoms and azaleas in the spring time.

    A multi-purpose hot spring recreation facility that draws its water from San-in's Togo Onsen. It has 10 baths, including two that you use without wearing a bathing suit. The fantastic sight of steam rising from the lake surface is a natural phenomenon occurring from hot springs bubbling up at the bottom of the lake. The sight of people clamming in the morning mists of Lake Togo, also known as Crane Lake, have an almost otherworldly feel. The large and small outdoor baths look out on Lake Togo. There are also lots of other facilities for your fun and enjoyment too, like a misting sauna and a pool with a 27-meter waterslide.

    プールがある温泉施設「ゆアシス東郷 龍鳳閣」です。露天風呂から眺め、結構良いですよ。 プールはそれほど大きくないけど、水着で入る温泉風呂は結構な数があります。特に、露天風呂は良かったです。東郷池がきれいに見えますよ。

    This heated pool facility adjoins Kurayoshi Park Square, a zone for cultural exchange where people, commodities, and information traverse freely. Facilities include a 67-meter-long lazy river, thrilling waterslide, regular swimming pool, and toddler pool. The brightly lit all-season indoor pool building is replete with a relaxation pool area with six different relaxation facilities, and here everyone from children to adults can let loose, have fun, and relax. The 61-meter-long water slide is one of the largest in the prefecture. The facility also offers a full array of classes, including aquatic exercise classes to help you increase your activity levels, and children's swimming classes which start with just getting used to the water.

    This area facing the Sea of Japan is dotted with hydrangea colonies that were originally planted to prevent salt-air damage. They were incorporated into the park during the construction of the breakwater, which started around 1975. The best time to see the hydrangeas is from mid-June to early July when about 2,000 hydrangeas of 10 varieties bloom throughout the park. Facilities include a gate ball ground, an arbor, and toilets. It covers in area of about 4,500 square meters, the largest in the prefecture.

    This park is situated at the foot of Mt. Senjo, a mountain connected to the history of Emperor Go-Daigo. Visitors can enjoy the sight of double-flowered cherries in spring and fall foliage in autumn in the picturesque park. The Mt. Senjo Cherry Blossom Festival is held in the park each year in late April.

    A tourist farm in central Tottori, an area blessed with pure water and air. They raise strawberries with their own special methods developed from the knowledge and experience gained from their time as a fertilizer shop. Their Wakaba Growing Method involves making high-quality organic matter that's easy for plants to absorb, reviving degraded soil to produce healthy and disease-resistant crops. The best strawberries are produced with thorough, careful management of cultivation using various enzymes. Strawberry picking runs between March and June. Reservations are essential, so be sure to contact them in advance.

    A local museum located at the northern edge of the Hawai Plain. The five-story building modeled after haniwa earthen objects and a castle is top of Mt. Umanoyama at 107 meters above sea level. This mountain is also famous as the setting of the ancient battle during which Hashiba Hideyoshi conquered the Chugoku region. It has one of the oldest and largest tombs in the San'in area, Umanoyama No.4 ancient tomb, as well as a lookout with an 360° panoramic view of the beautiful natural surroundings. When the weather is clear, the view takes in Lake Togo, the Sea of Japan, and even Mt. Daisen. The sight of the museum lit up at night is particularly magical.

    A municipal park looking out on Lake Togo. The expansive grounds have a sports center, covered common area, gate ball court, campground, and more. The entire area around Lake Togo has been designated Lake Togo Hawai Lakeside Park, and various recreational activities are available at the parks within it. Ayameike Park, located to the east of Lake Togo, is the lakeside park's core facility; it's fully equipped with an arena, seminar rooms, and a gym. Various flowers burst into bloom in season, including moss phlox in April, wisteria in May, and Japanese irises in June.

    A campground located near the Sea of Japan shore, as well as the Hojo Sand Dunes. The auto campground in a lush pine forest has bungalows and more. The five roughly 13 square meter bungalows have heating and air conditioning, letting visitors camp in comfort whatever the season. The sites at the eastern drive-in camping area come with or without fire pits. The regular camping area can accommodate up to 100 tents; cars aren't allowed in, so it's ideal for those who want some peace and quiet. The reception center has rental gear like tents, blankets, and cooking utensils available.

    A campground adjacent to Roadside Station Daiei. The 9.7-hectare premises features campsites, a gate ball court, tennis courts, a multi-purpose area, and more. They're not equipped for auto camping; a popular campground located in a lush natural setting, you can put up your tent wherever you like. Cars can be parked in the lot just across the street, or near the western cooking building. While it doesn't have a bathhouse, Hawai Onsen is about a 20-minute drive away, so many people head there in the evening to enjoy the colors of the setting sun along the way.

    2018年6月の日曜日に訪問しました。広大な芝生の広場がありました。グラウンドゴルフ場もありました。各種すべり台など子供の遊具もたくさんありました。天気が悪かったのもあり、すいており、子供もたくさん遊べました。
