A hot spring bathhouse on the Tottori Sand Dunes coast. The first floor has a day use health facility and paid seminar room, and the second floor has a recreation room and a bathing area with large windows with a magnificent view of the Sea of Japan. The natural calcium sodium chloride sulfate spring is said to help alleviate hardening of the arteries, chronic women's diseases, and other ailments. Many take advantage of the heated swimming pool located next door.

鳥取砂丘から2km位の場所にある日帰り温泉です。露天風呂はありませんが、内湯浴室は広く、浴槽も広いです。湯はおそらく循環利用。その割には浴感は悪くありませんでした。

A public bath surrounded by the peaks of Mt. Jubu. Located on the Miyagawa River with its rural scenery, the facility has an outdoor bath, whirlpool, sauna, and footbath. It's fed by a simple, weakly hypotonic, high temperature thermal spring and is said to be effective for nerve pain, muscle soreness, and other conditions. The curved wall of glass blocks at one side of the bathing area gives it an open atmosphere. A great place to unwind and very reasonably priced, and it's become very popular. Their on-site eatery Shikano Soba Dokoro serves soba noodles, a Shikano-cho specialty.

鹿野温泉にある公衆浴場です。浴場は広くゆったりすることができます。またサウナや狭いですが露天風呂もあります。湯は40℃ほどでちょうど良い熱さです。お風呂上がりには休憩所がありマッサージ機や漫画などが置いてあります。少しお風呂の淵のサビが気になりました。

Between 10 am and 2 pm on weekdays it is possible to reserve private baths, popular among parenting and friend groups.

This day-use hot spring bathhouse is situated amidst quiet mountains a short distance away from the bustling heart of the city. Enjoy the waters of a spring said to beautify the spring in In low uplands beyond Urinuma Shrine, dedicated to Yakami-hime, wife of Okuninushi-no-Mikoto; and Ushinotoyaki, Yanasegama, and Nagaigama. The waters of the bathhouse' sodium chloride hydrogen carbonate spring are kept somewhat on the cooler side and are also said to treat muscle soreness and skin diseases and, when drunk, digestive disorders and constipation. Accordingly, customers rave that bathing here is easy on the body and that one can relax for extended period in their waters. Many people make use of the nearby Yuya Kasen Park, where Kajika frog can be heard croacking; and the adjoining Yuya District Sports Plaza when visiting the bathhouse.

This day-use hot spring bathhouse has a huge, pool-like bath room for rehabilitation purposes. Located in a rural district some 20 minutes from the center of Tottori City, here customers can bath in curative hot spring waters drawn exclusively from a source spring. The waters of the bathhouse' spring are continuously piped as-is into the baths from 1,300 meters underground ; these waters contain an abundance of therapeutic substances and customers rave that soaking in them enables them to penetrate and heal the body. The bathhouse' indoor bath area commands a view of Mt. Jubo out front and is replete with a jacuzzi-style lie down bath and a cold mineral spring bath. Amazingly, everything, from the baths to the showers to the sinks make use of uncirculated water straight from the bathhouse' hot spring.

A day-use bathhouse located in a verdant area in the mountains. The large hill-top public bath looks out on the surrounding terrain. The sulfate hydrogen carbonate spring is reputed to be good for nerve and joint pain as well as sensitivity to cold. There is also a break room with vending machines dispensing dairy products and soft drinks, so many come repeatedly to invigorate themselves over an extended period. It's very reasonably priced, and they provide amenities like shampoo, rinse, and body soap as well. A pick-up service is available from town for groups of 10 or more (reservations required).

1階がパブで2階がゲストハウス。こういう形式だと1階の騒音が寝室まで届くことがあるのですが、この宿では寝室に飲食店の音が聞こえることはありませんでした。 2階にも談話室がありますが、1階の利用もお酒を持ち込まない限りOKでした。全体的に設備が新しく綺麗だったのが良かったです。鳥取駅まで徒歩圏内なのが良いですね。

鳥取市在住の知人から紹介されて利用しました。鳥取駅からバスで30-40分。吉岡温泉自体がこじんまりとした静かな地域で、鳥取の街中で泊まるよりくつろげます。温泉の湯量も豊富。貸し切風呂があり温泉を満喫できました。食事も一品ずつ丁寧に作られていて，居心地良く気持ちよく過ごせました。のんびり滞在して温泉を楽しみたい方にお勧めです。
